Well, it’s nearly Christmas again.
I don’t know about you but because I do all my gift shopping online – I hate queuing and I REALLY hate fighting my way though the stores. Anyway, this year during my forays into the wonderful world of internet shopping I came across some really excessive items that I thought would make for an interesting post.
They’re all things that you’ll probably only be able to afford if you’re lucky enough the win the lottery, but it’s interesting to see what’s out there for those with serious money to burn.
These aren’t in any order other than the order that I found them!
For £43,000 ($55,000 for our American cousins) you could be the proud owner of a TRON-style motorbike.
This is the illuminated, street-legal motorcycle inspired by the computer animated cycle from the 2010 film Tron: Legacy. Designed for casual cruising and slow ride-bys at shows, it is made from a steel frame covered by a fibreglass cowling that replicates the sleek look of its computer-generated imagery counterpart.

This would appear to be a more expensive acquisition for us in the UK because it’s priced at £350,000. The dollar price is the same – what happened to the exchange rate there?

Is there anything better than owning your own island? Well, how’s about owning your own personal Bond-villain-esque ocean hideout?
This is what you could get with “Project Utopia”, a ridiculously cool concept from the folks over at Yacht Island Design and BMT Nigel Gee who’ve gone about putting together concept designs. The floating retreat is 100 metres in long and will be around 100m in depth.
Cost? Silly question, people! If you have to ask you can’t afford it! Firebox are quoting $312,000,000. Yep, that’s 312 MILLION bucks!
Go to the BMT Website for more info on the project or click on the photo to check out the Firebox page.
Marchi Mobile eleMMent RV
It’ll set you back a cool £1,900,000 ($2,964,000) but you’ll be pleased to hear that delivery is free!!
Made by Austrian company Marchi Mobile, the strangely named eleMMent has a very high spec. There’s a pop-up roof terrace providing 215 sq. ft, under-floor heating and a bar! The 20-ton beast also boasts a huge master bedroom with a 40-inch TV and state-of-the-art en-suite bathroom complete with rainfall shower. Even the driver’s cab has a bunk bed.
The price isn’t high enough for you? No problemo, because this beauty comes with various optional extras, including mobile internet, a working fireplace, streaming video surveillance, satellite TV and a glow-in-the-dark paint job.

Virgin Galactic Space Travel
Space … the final frontier, … not to mention the ultimate Christmas present.
For a relatively paltry $200,000 you can take Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic space flights on a soaring trip well above the Earth’s atmosphere, and officially call yourself an astronaut.
This would be a genuinely cool gift, so just get booking or click the photo for more info.
